We collect information you provide directly, including restaurant names, owner or staff names, usernames, email addresses, phone numbers, restaurant addresses, website links, account passwords, dish details, dish photos, pricing, pickup windows, tags, and messages submitted through the website.
If you choose to sign in with Facebook or another social login provider, we may receive account information from that provider, such as your provider user ID, name, email address, profile picture, authentication token, and related login information needed to create, secure, and maintain your SeeFood account.
When diners or restaurant users interact with SeeFood, we may collect usage information such as dish views, saves, passes, Order Now taps, share events, ratings, device identifiers used for analytics or rate limiting, log data, IP address, browser or device information, and approximate location when needed to show nearby dishes.
2. How we use information
We use information to provide and improve SeeFood, create and manage accounts, verify and connect social-login accounts, publish restaurant profiles and dishes, display ordering and call options, send account and password emails, respond to restaurant interest submissions, measure dish performance, protect against abuse, troubleshoot issues, and communicate about onboarding or support.
3. Information shown to users
Restaurant profile and dish information may be visible in the SeeFood app or website, including restaurant name, dish name, description, photo, price, pickup window, tags, location, website link, and phone number when provided by the restaurant.
4. Service providers
We may use service providers for hosting, email delivery, analytics, security, backups, authentication support, and other operational needs. These providers are allowed to process information, including social-login data when applicable, only as needed to support SeeFood.
5. Legal and safety reasons
We may access, preserve, or disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, to investigate abuse or security issues, or to enforce our terms and policies.
6. Data retention
We keep information as long as needed to operate SeeFood, support accounts, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain business records. Restaurants may ask us to update or delete account information by contacting us.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, so please use strong passwords and contact us if you believe your account or information may be at risk.
8. Your choices
You can update restaurant profile information in the owner console when available, unsubscribe from non-essential messages where an unsubscribe option is provided, and contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of information associated with your account.
9. Children's privacy
SeeFood is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and may provide additional notice when appropriate.
